Her foot scraping across the sand was a neat touch :D. I prefer live birth to eggs.

Thank you! I like the idea of live birth as well, but it does make for some problems.... like feeding the little one..;) I figure dad can take care of that though while mom is resting (well, its not like they are mammals!)...

Some snakes give 'almost' live birth where the eggs hatch inside the female and then are born with just a sack around them. The young then break free as soon as the sack is clear.
